About The Artist

Albert Joseph DiSalle was born in New York City in November 27, 1931 and passed away in Dumont, New Jersey at the age of 68.

His legacy was realized in his contribution to commercial art arena as an artist and art director and more importantly the paintings he left behind.

 Albert was a lifetime member of The Art Student League of New York, Audubon Artists Bergen Count Artist Guild and The Painter’s & Sculptor’s Society of New Jersey.

His paintings were awarded several prestigious awards and are enjoyed in public and private collections.

DiSalle’s work was exhibited in several galleries from the 1960’s-1980’s most notably at Carnegie International in 1963 where he was recognized by Gustave von Groschwitz and Larcada Gallery in 1966 where he headlined.

Albert DiSalle, stopped exhibiting and focused on his art and produced over hundred paintings and continued his passion until the year 2000 when he passed away.

His collection of paintings, drawings and sketches were purchased by a private collector and have become available throughout the years.
